Electronic Drum Set Review Guide

I have spent plenty of time looking for the best electronic drum set.I want to share with you the electronic drum sets that I have found to be the most fun to play. I haven’t yet tried them all, but I have had a lot more experience since my first electronic drum set.

Top Makers of Electronic Drum Sets

If you buy an electronic drum set, you should look beyond the cheapest electronic drum set and go for a good electronic drum set. I was on a budget and electronic drum set prices were a little higher than I had the money to purchase. After buying a cheap drum set and getting ripped off, I decided to get a top electronic drum set that would last me a long time and perform well.

Here is a list of the best electric drums that I’ve found:

  1. Yamaha Electronic Drum Set (dtxplorer, dtxpress, dd 55 are all good models). Yamaha makes a special electronic drum set that I love called the dtxplorer. This is why the yamaha is my electronic drum set.
  2. Roland Electronic Drum Set (td4s v compact, td6pdx v tour, td 20s models). The Roland electric sets are good because they are small and compact. These electronic sets of drums model the famous v drums that sound really cool. The sound of v drums is not duplicated with any other electronic drum set.
  3. Kawasaki Electronic Drum Set. I haven’t personally tried the kawasaki electronic drum sets yet. Kawasaki makes quality items from motorcycles to televisions. I have read drumset reviews that said the kawasaki drums were fun to play and they were happy with them. I don’t have a comparison between kawasaki and other drum sets, but I think they probably make a good electronic drum set.
  4. smi1450 tabletop Electronic Drum Set. Here is an electronic drum set comparison that I can make between this tabletop drum set and pearl drums. My friend Frank got a pearl drum set when he was 10 for Christmas.  I heard the smi1450 and it sounded a lot like Frank’s pearl drums. There is not such thing as electric pearl drums, but this is a set that I found that is a good beginner drum set.

A good starter electronic drum set will be compact, portable and should fit on any normal tabletop. If all you need is a kids electronic drum set, then go for the cheapest electronic drum set that you can find for sale. You could spend many hours looking for reviews and comparisons, but in the end you can’t go wrong with the brands of electric drums that I mentioned above. I’ll be sharing more about electronic drum set prices in my next blog post.
